ADS Drums were proud to showcase the Maverick Touring Gigging Kit in a four piece Rock configuration in Black Galaxy finish ideal for stage lights. Also flown in for the show were Soultone Latin, Natural , and Vintage Old School 64 Line Prototype Cymbals for display.
Soultone Artist and current Young Drummer of the Year Stephen Asamoah Duah performed on the stand on Saturday and Sunday , whilst also playing on the Mainstage on Sunday afternoon. Richard Rayner also an ex Young Drummer of the Year , Drummer for Band FranKo and Ford Artist also entertained us on Sunday.
Ford and John Henrys Backline Hire in London were pleased to announce at the show their partnership to provide Ford Maverick Touring kIts and Smart Ass Seats for Backline Hire and Sale from the Pro Shop in London . Soultone Cymbals will also be available in the Pro Shop and for Hire.
Soultone Cymbals who are the Cymbal provider for the Young Drummer of the Year competition were proud to provide the Soultone Cymbals set on the Mike Dolbear Young Drummer of the Year Audition Booth at the show. This booth was available throughout the show for aspiring Young Drummers to audition on film for the Young Drummer of the Year 2012.

SOULTONE ENDORSING ARTIST IAIN WILSON DRUMMER WITH AUSTRALIAN BAND 26 TOURING UK IN AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER.
[26] Release their debut UK single , ALOHA on 25th July on Floodboy Records. The single is lifted from their successful Australian previously released Album BIRTHS DEATHS & MARRIAGES which will receive its UK release later this year. [26] spent much of 2010 touring including performances at the ROCKNESS FESTIVAL, MUSEEXPO USA &UK , INTERNATIONAL DESIGN WEEK (CND), MUSIC MATTERS ( HK), and BRICK LANE TAKEOVER ( UK). They return to the UK in August in support of the release of ALOHA and will announce live dates soon; including Y not Festival on 6th August.

Stephen Asamoah Duah opened up proceedings on the last two nights of the Gavin Harrison Clinic Tour promoted by Mike Dolbear at Orchard Percussion Studios , Colchester and The Drum Shed , Chesham in June. Both nights were a sell out.
Stephen opened up for Gavin Harrison at the last two venues of the Tour with different sets on each night. This is the first Public Clinic performances that Stephen has undertaken , and the Audience were treated to a very competent performance on each night well done Stephen. In the Audience at Orchard Percussion was Richard Rayner, one time Young Drummer of the Year himself and now playing Drums for up and coming Band FranKo , who have just completed a tour of Indonesia and are now preparing to embark on a UK Tour in July and August. Thanks to Paul at Orchard Percussion Studios, Colchester, and Bob at the Drum Shed, Chesham , and Mike Dolbear , and of course Gavin Harrison for the great occasions and performances.

14 YEAR OLD STEPHEN ASAMOAH DUAH of Edmonton, London ,
was crowned this years Winner at the Leamington Spa Centre on Sunday 6th February.

Adrian Darby after the announcement.Stephen was voted Winner from a very strong group of 10 finalists by a team of emminent Judges at the prestigious competition organised by Mike Dolbear.com and sponsored by Natal Drums with cymbals sponsored by Soultone. Paul Blant , Drummer with Peterborough's Up and coming Band The Fleeting Minds used the Ford Corian Prototype at Assault & Battery Studios in London , when the Band recorded their debut Album , with Producer Matt Lawrence. This Snare has recently returned off Tour with Placebo . Paul was looking for the distinctive sound signature that the Corian Horizontal Stave construction delivers.

Steve Forrest of Placebo has just taken delivery of these two identical Twin Corian-Koenig Snares. Steve is a Ford Smart Ass Seat and Snare drum Endorser. Steve is seen here performing with Placebo in Tel Aviv playing a Corian Prototype snare and astride his Custom Smart Ass Seat.
Paul Stanley-McKenzie has been performing recently sitting astride his Ford Smart Ass Seat. Pauli ( Young Drummer of the Year 2005) who plays for Gorillaz Sound System and has been touring extensively this year loves the comfort that the Swedish memory foam gives on a long gig. He was also attracted to the distinctive retro stying.
